The Seaboard M-1A Receiver/ Decoder combines a super-sensitive, highly reliable F.M. receiver with an advanced microprocessor-based to provide error –free alarm reporting. It can monitor up to 10,000 remote transmitters with up to 16 distinct zones (channel) per transmitter. Included is the ability to scan 3 remote inputs from either Satellite Receivers or Repeaters. Through the touch-tone pad on the front panel you can control Alarm Silence and Alarm Acknowledge functions. The touch pad is also used to program the Time/Date Display. The internal memory can stack as many as 16 incoming alarms. An RS232 output port provides to communication to C.R.T. terminals, computers or remote printers.
OPERATION
Upon the activation of any transmitter in the system, a burst of digital data is received by the M-1A and processed through 10 separate identification steps to insure that the signal is correct and a valid Seaboard and transmission. The transmitter number and the zone violation are then produced the ¾” L.E.D. Display. A buzzers provides an audible annunciation that an alarm has been received. Information is then conveyed to the PR-1 Printer and to the An RS232 Output Port if present.
The latest microprocessor design is incorporated in these compact VHZ and UHF transmitters. Like the traditional “LC” series of Seaboard transmitters, this new series is fully compatible with the M-1A Receiver-Decoder system. Each Zone can be activated by either a simple contact closure, contact opening,
The transmitter “ID” is PROM programmable and an internal timers permits you to select the interval at which you wish to send an automatic test signal to the Central Station.
